Essential Responsibilities:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Minimum Years of Relevant Work Experience Required to Perform Job Upon Hire:
2 to 5 years of HR experience with focus on employee relations and compliance
Certifications or Licenses Required:
PHR, SPHR, or equivalent preferred; leadership coaching accreditation preferred
Other Training, Technical Skills, or Knowledge Required:
- Proven HR policy and employment law knowledge
- Strong consulting, change management, facilitation, and analytical skills
Other Measurable Abilities Required:
- Demonstrated skills in providing exceptional customer service
- Ability to lead and inspire a team
- History of meeting or exceeding goals
Shift Work:
Mon–Fri with availability on Saturdays to handle urgent situations via phone/email as needed. Day and early evening shifts.
Discretion/Latitude:
Complex responsibilities with significant decision-making authority and strategic impact.
Supervisory Scope:
May provide guidance to HR staff or project teams; no direct budget responsibility.
Typical Interactions:
Frequent interaction with executives, leaders, and all levels of staff across the organization.
Physical Demands & Environmental/Working Conditions:
Primarily office-based role; requires regular use of computer systems and extended periods of sitting. Minimal travel between sites may be required.

The hiring range for this position in Florida is $76,800 to $115,200 annually. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered. Essential Responsibilities:
- Serve as first point of contact for managers and employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and practices.
- Manage employee relations matters including conflict resolution, corrective action documentation, and policy interpretation.
- Conduct investigations for employee complaints or policy violations, escalating complex cases as needed.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies (e.g., EEO, wage and hour).
- Administer LOA, FMLA, ADA, and related accommodations, ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
- Partner with employees, managers, and third-party providers to coordinate benefits and accommodations.
- Support the administration of the performance appraisal process, ensuring consistency and compliance.
- Provide coaching to managers on performance documentation and feedback on best practices.
- Maintain HRIS records and ensure accuracy of employee data.
- Prepare regular and ad hoc reports on headcount, turnover, LOA activity, and other HR metrics.
- Partner with Compensation on salary reviews for new hires, promotions, and adjustments.
- Assist in updating and communicating HR policies and procedures.
- Assist with employee engagement activities, surveys, and action planning.
- Coordinate with Talent Data and Administration Partner to track completion of compliance and required training programs.
- Provide insights from daily HRBP activities to inform broader HR strategies.
- Support the rollout of strategic initiatives, ensuring effective execution within assigned client groups.
