The Partners Federal Credit Union Corporate Event Manager, People & Culture is responsible for planning, executing, and continuously improving employee, leadership, marketing, and culture-driven events that reinforce the credit union’s values, strengthen engagement, and support member and talent strategies. This role partners closely with HR, Marketing, Executive Assistants, Executive Leadership, and internal stakeholders to deliver meaningful experiences across the member and employee lifecycle, while also providing executive administrative support related to leadership meetings, member events, and strategic initiatives. This position blends event strategy, operational excellence, and executive coordination in a highly collaborative, mission & performance driven environment at Partners Federal Credit Union.

Essential Responsibilities 
  • Develop and manage a comprehensive People & Culture events strategy aligned with employee engagement, leadership development, marketing programs, and organizational priorities.
  • Design experiences that promote connection, belonging, transparency, and trust across the organization.
  • Lead planning and execution of HR-related and internal events, including but not limited to: o Employee onboarding and orientation programs o Leadership offsites and manager development sessions
    • Town halls, all-staff meetings, and Host a Huddle CEO sessions
    • Annual employee meetings and recognition events
    • Benefits fairs and wellness initiatives
    • DEI and culture celebrations (heritage months, inclusion events, volunteer days)
    • Change management and transformation-related events
    • Elevate and Celebrate Bi-Yearly events
    • IMPACT Awards Strategy and Execution
    • Calendarized HR Event Days
    • Employee Appreciation Days and Events
    • International Credit Union Day
    • Anniversary Milestones
Executive & Leadership Events
  • Plan and support executive events such as:
    • Executive leadership meetings and retreats
    • Strategic planning sessions
    • Board Annual Meetings
    • Membership Meeting
    • APC
    • Board In Person Meeting
  • Support Board-adjacent support in partnership with CEO Executive Administrative
    • Board or Supervisory Committee events
    • Prepare run-of-show documents, facilitate logistics to ensure professional, seamless delivery and provide travel support as needed
Member Events
  • Provide logistic and project management support to Marketing teams for events such as and not limited to:
    • West & East coast car sales catering, space, chairs, tables, IT logistics o MEDA (Business Development) events as needed
    • Car Sale
    • Expos
Executive Administrative Support (As Needed)
  • Provide executive administrative support related to People & Culture initiatives, including:
    • Coordinating executive calendars for key HR, leadership, and culture-related meetings
    • Preparing meeting agendas, presentation materials, and briefing documents
    • Managing logistics for leadership travel, offsites, and multi-day meetings
    • Supporting follow-ups, action tracking, and communications stemming from executive sessions
  • Act as a trusted partner to People & Culture leadership, ensuring confidentiality, professionalism, and attention to detail.
Project, Vendor & Budget Management
  • Lead all logistical components of events, including venue selection, contracts, catering, audiovisual, accessibility, and risk considerations.
  • Source, negotiate, and manage vendors while ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
  • Develop, track, and reconcile event budgets in compliance with HR, finance, and credit union policies.
Compliance, Risk & Employee Experience
  • Ensure all events comply with credit union regulatory standards, privacy requirements, and employee data protections. •
  • Partner with Legal, Compliance, Risk, and DEI teams to ensure appropriate approvals and inclusive practices.
  • Champion accessibility, psychological safety, and employee well-being in all event designs.
Cross Functional Collaboration & Communication
  • Partner with internal teams (Internal Communications, Marketing, HR, Talent, Retail, Operations) to align messaging, content, and experience delivery.
  • Serve as a central point of contact for People & Culture events, providing guidance to leaders planning department or regional gatherings.
  • Host vendors events as business needs emerge (Visa/Velera)
Measurement & Continuous Improvement
  • Measure event success through engagement metrics, feedback surveys, and post-event insights.
  • Prepare summaries and recommendations for People & Culture and Executive Leadership.
  • Stay current on trends in employee engagement, workplace experience, hybrid events, and HR best practices.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

Minimum Education Required to Perform Job:
High School Diploma or GED
• Degree Focus: Bachelor’s degree in business, Communications, Event Management, Hospitality, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Minimum Years of Relevant Work Experience Required to Perform Job Upon Hire:
5-7 years

Specific Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in event management, HR operations, executive support, or a related corporate environment.

Certifications or Licenses Required: 
  • CMP, SHRM-CP/SCP, or similar certification - Preferred.
  • MPC, Meeting Professional Certification - Preferred
Other Training, Technical Skills, or Knowledge Required: 
  • Familiarity with audiovisual production, livestreaming, and digital content delivery
  • Proficiency with event management, HRIS, scheduling, and collaboration tools.
  • Experience with event technology platforms such as Cvent, Eventbrite, Bizzabo, or internal event systems
  • Proven project management expertise with the ability to plan, execute, and deliver large scale corporate events and meetings
  • Demonstrated ability to own processes end to end, from planning through execution and post event evaluation
  • Experience building dashboards and reporting on engagement, ROI, and experience outcomes
  • Strong storytelling capability to connect event outcomes to business, culture, and talent strategies

Physical Demands & Environmental/Working Conditions:
This position is performed primarily in a traditional office or credit union setting within a work environment that may include in-office days, remote workdays, or branch days with no expected adverse environmental conditions. Depending on role type, roles may require participation in off-site events, or occasional evening or weekend work. This position requires the ability to:
  • move self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces

The hiring range for this position is $74,600 to $107,800 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. 

This role may also be eligible for additional compensation such as a bonus or long-term incentive units.

Most roles at Partners are also eligible for our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP), which rewards employees for individual contributions and our collective success. While AIP is not guaranteed, it reflects our commitment to recognizing meaningful impact and shared results.
